ATA Member Petition This is a campaign to gather meaningful information directly from the
ATA membership. It is meant to reflect the attitude of all ATA members who choose to volunteer, circulate, sign, and return the petitions to FieldandClays for tabulation, notarization, and presentation to the ATA (petitions must be returned by August 1st). It is meant to be unbiased in any way. It is not meant in any way to be disrespectful to anybody in the State of Illinois or the Sparta area. Further, it is not meant to indicate preference of any other location. It is specifically about Sparta, Illinois and only Sparta. How can ATA members participate? To obtain Petition forms for printing, 1) Print, circulate, sign, and return the Petition forms by August 1st. Any interested person can do this. In order to provide the widest representation it is suggested that the petitions be displayed at all Trapshooting facilities and events between now and July 28th. 2) To post in favor of your petition position for others to read, go to the Buzz Board thread "Sparta ATA petition." This thread will remain active through July 28th. 3) To post positive ideas to help facilitate the ATA relocation, go to the Buzz Board thread "ATA relocation ideas." Rules
I hope this effort provides the membership an opportunity to be heard by the ATA leadership and also, I hope the voice of the membership helps enlighten and guide the ATA to the best possible relocation conclusion. Best, Bob
